I am so excited....Kim and I are heading out to our 1st class with AU this year. PMC Organic Freestyle Rings with Donna Lewis. Can't wait to learn how to properly use my PMC and come home with finished product..woo hoo!!

Wow, I was so happy with what I created. Donna took the fear right out of it. I loved the raw 'organic' look of the rings. We ran out of time to fire them so we will pick them up on Sat morning and add our patinas. I managed to crank out 2 rings for me and 1 for Bob. Kim had 3 made as well but her first dried out too fast and broke...well now it is going to be slip. Haha. True recycling. With the price of silver you have no choice.
Met some great people...Kristen's 1st time at AU, came in from Las Vegas with her husband and 2 dogs-brave woman.
And Gabi Becket with some impressive connections in the gem community and the cutest little flower and CZ ring that she was wearing. She created it using art clay and a mold from a button.
Sigh, such creative people.
Now Kim and I will be a the Shopping Extravaganza on Sat to help out the Hannah Grey booth. We have 2 tickets to give away...just email.

Well Sunday was "Caught in a Trap" with Richard Salley. Awesome, awesome class. Great teacher and very productive class. I finished a pendent, pair of earring, and ring. All were made using annealed and folded copper, brass backings, and brass rivets. Too fun! I am hooked. Look out AZ...
Trish has gone heavy metal.
I have to say that I have met some really great people this year.
Gabi was in my Sunday class and so was Kelly from Aurora, CO. And Ms. Hanna from Mesa.
Mon nite I met 3 Sedona ladies that were very creative and adventurous...you should have heard their RV stories. Oh, and one of their friends was from TX.
Then there are the tried and true friends like Shosh and Mike from Hannah Grey, my buds from EV Mixed-Media...we saw Lulu, Susan K., Jan, Carol, Judy, and Sherry. I'm sure I've missed someone.
Til next year or possibly Adorn Me or Art & Soul...who knows maybe we'll win the lottery!
